Welcome Back

I hope everyone had a fabulous Fall Break. I went to Walt Disney World in Florida. Mrs. Biever also went to Disney. It was good to get away and relax with family. Now it's time for us to get back to business. I hope that each of you got a chance to relax, revive, refresh and renew. It's going to be a great semester! Grades will be out at the end of the week. Basketball season is here. My brother is coaching the 7th grade boys. I hope you will welcome him with open arms and show him what Hancock County Middle School is all about. We take pride in our academics and our extra curricular activities. In other words, we Aim High and Dare to be the Best!

In closing I would like for you to think about the following words:

We must respect the rights and properties of our fellowman. And then learn to play the game of life, as well as the game of athletics, according to the rules of society. If you can take that and put it into practice in the community in which you live, then, to me you have won the greatest championship.
Jesse Owens

Take care everyone!
Have a great Cardinal weekend!
